PERIOD FURNITURE
At Bainbridge Fine Furniture we build every piece of furniture as it was originally made. Shaker, Biedermeier, Georgian and other styles are faithfully produced, using original techniques. We do have the advantage of modern materials though, that we incorporate so that each piece of furniture can withstand today's central heating and air-conditioning. Photographs show the scope of our work. Each piece of furniture is researched thoroughly so that the client can be assured that their furniture can be placed with existing pieces in interiors and will match perfectly.

MODERN
Today's modern furniture takes it's influences from all of the above styles. However construction techniques dictate most of today's style. The use of pre-prepared boards has lead to a simplifying of shapes to cubes and vertical and horizontal elements. Furniture now blends into the surroundings. This has not dampend creativity though, other elements such as glass, leather,paint and metals etc. have been used to add a new artistic element to furniture.
